2019 World Peace Summit: 5th Anniversary of the WARP Summit : “Legislate Peace”

The theme of the 2019 World Peace Summit: 5th Anniversary of the WARP Summit is “Legislate Peace”– Implementation of the DPCW for Sustainable Development. This year the outcomes from the previous year’s work – in which various fields focused on solidifying peace networks – will be shared, along with a more detailed direction for the advancement of actualizing world peace. For this purpose, there will be events held in 200 cities in 110 countries with 300,000 citizens with the goal of establishing a universal order and standard that is applicable internationally, and to establish an international, legally binding document for peace. In order to expand the agreement drafted by the international community as a core principle of world peace, the propagation of a culture of peace as presented in the DPCW, and to increase public support for peace this event has been designed as a global peace movement

It’s more than just a conference. The World Peace Summit is an extensive gathering of like-minded leaders and citizens sincerely taking action to establish a sustainable environment for peace in today’s world. Since 2014, with the main slogan, “Together for Peace as Messengers of Peace,” the summit has provided a platform for leaders in politics, religion, youth and women’s groups, journalism, and civil society around the world to discuss the ideas and practices required for a world with only peace.

The theme of this year’s summit, “Legislate Peace”, is a peace project that supports and encourages the establishment of a universal norm and standard of peace in the form of an international law that operates in accordance with the core principles of the 10 articles and 38 clauses of the Declaration of World Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) that has been proclaimed by HWPL and can be effectively implemented within both a societal and international level. This year’s ceremony will share specific cases of implementation of the project in different areas and discuss future plans to achieve the common goal of ending war and realizing world peace

Peace is the timeless, invaluable asset for humanity that must be transmitted to the future generations. We are delighted to welcome you to the 2019 World Peace Summit: 5th Anniversary of the WARP Summit. Your presence and support will be sure to make this event even more meaningful.
